Stig's group of fighters continues their journey toward the Inbit's main hive but pauses in a small town. Jim intends to deliver a book to the father of a friend who died during an Invid attack. However, the father cannot be found, and the local townspeople refuse to answer any questions regarding his whereabouts. This unexpected detour creates tension as the group faces uncooperative residents while trying to complete their mission before resuming their travel to locate the hive.
