By defeating other club leaders, Ryuko boosts the group's standing, allowing Mako to secure a One-Star Goku Uniform that elevates the Mankanshoku family to a better apartment. As Mako strives to maintain this improved lifestyle, Ryuko feels isolated by her friend's growing seriousness and the family's indulgence in wealth. Just as Ryuko prepares to quit, Satsuki presents Mako with a Two-Star Goku Uniform, ordering her to defeat Ryuko to retain their luxury. Ryuko endures Mako's attacks, prompting Mako to recognize her mistakes, disband the club, and return to their previous life in the slums. Satsuki simultaneously reveals her plan to restructure the student council through a snap election by using Ryuko to eliminate weaker clubs.
