After their scooter fails, Ira drives them but they face attacks from automotive and airsoft clubs. Ira absorbs hits to power his uniform and defeats the attackers. Later, contenders compete on pillars in a king of the hill game. Ryuko and the Elite Four secure their spots easily. Satsuki demands Ryuko defeat each Elite Four member to learn about her father's death. Ira is named her first opponent, setting the stage for the upcoming confrontations within the school's harsh election system.
