Wanted for four murders, Hajime hides with cameraman Kiyonori Hariu, who provides photos and villa blueprints. After escaping Inspector Shigeru Nagashima by jumping into a river, Hajime is sheltered by Aoi Hanamura. He finds Nonaka at Yunosawa Hotel, realizing it is a trap set by Akechi and Nagashima. Hajime warns Nonaka, but she is later stabbed and killed. Desperate, Hajime takes a hostage, prompting Akechi to shoot him. In the ambulance, Hajime reveals he used tomato juice to simulate blood and requested a blank bullet to survive. The group then travels to Tachibana's villa to review the evidence and identify the true culprit.
