Hajime and Miyuke participate in special training with the Fudoh Ski Club despite Hajime’s poor skiing skills. Later, Hajime discovers Shiramine buried in snow with minor injuries. CCTV reveals an attacker using a ski cover, but Hajime deduces frozen towels were the actual weapon since skis are locked. Accusing Emi Suzumori based on footage and her behavior, Hajime confronts her. She admits to the attack, claiming Shiramine sabotaged Shibusawa’s skis, causing his accident. Shibusawa then wakes from a coma to clarify he adjusted his own skis, absolving Shiramine. The Fudoh Ski Club wins the competition, succeeding without Hajime, who remains unable to ski.
