King Moriham warns Scarlett about dark elf ties, prompting her to lead a scouting mission to locate the Dark Lord’s resurrection site. She places the Black Edge on the vanguard at Riheet’s request. Meanwhile, youngest member Tamm develops feelings for Sheila, drawing harsh reprimands from teammates. Ripine questions Tamm’s life goals, stating her happiness depends on her brother’s success. She warns that while she will not stop him from leaving, any action endangering the Black Edge will result in her killing him. Tamm agrees to end his relationship with Sheila to focus on the mission. Concurrently, Kasel and his friends reach the Red Valley, the home of the orcs.
