Kasel and his companions arrive at a town ruined by demons and decide to assist the residents in reconstruction. Frey befriends an orphaned girl named Elise, who initially resists their friendship but eventually bonds with her and the other children. The mayor invites Frey to stay, recognizing her positive impact on the youth, but Frey declines to remain with Kasel’s group. Disappointed, Elise traps Frey in a toolshed. While Kasel searches for her, he encounters demonic worms. Frey escapes the shed and assists Kasel in defeating the creatures. Elise apologizes for her actions, and the two girls promise to meet again in the future.
