Ep. 6: Kasel and friends work at a restaurant while Cleo overcomes her hesitation to use magic against demons.

Traveling toward Ogria Mountain, Kasel and companions stop at a town to resupply. Roi sells goods at the market, while Cleo secures jobs for herself, Kasel, and Frey at a local restaurant owned by Madam Volf. The owner tasks the trio with repairs and shares her trauma from a past war that killed most townsfolk, leaving her with a deep aversion to magic. Demons soon attack the establishment, requiring fire magic to defeat them. Although Cleo hesitates due to Madam Volf’s prejudice, the owner eventually accepts that her past should not control her present. She permits Cleo to use magic, enabling the group to repel the attackers and repair the damage. Having earned sufficient funds, the party prepares to resume their journey.
