Kasel enters a shrine and encounters a vision where his mother is alive and demons do not exist. Although he wishes to stay, he recognizes the illusion and chooses to return to reality. Sieg acknowledges this choice as passing a test, removes the second seal, and agrees to fight alongside Kasel against the Dark Lord. Malduk senses the holy sword's power and attacks the village, injuring Sieg and Frey. Witnessing his allies hurt, Kasel unleashes holy power to force Malduk to retreat, then collapses from exhaustion.
