Ep. 17: Riheet learns of the Black Edge's destruction and reveals his true intentions to Scarlett.

The Orvelian army establishes a temporary base at Elise's village while Scarlett monitors Riheet's recovery. Upon waking, he is informed that the Black Edge has been eliminated and he is the sole survivor. Seeking vengeance against Malduk, Riheet attempts to depart the forest, but Scarlett intercepts him. In a fit of anger, Riheet confesses that he never cared for Orvelia and intended to enslave its citizens as retribution for the discrimination faced by dark elves. This revelation shocks Scarlett, who was unaware of the secret oppression. Later, Riheet encounters Maria, who explains that Illya, the dark elf responsible for the discrimination, originally sought to save Kyle. Maria directs Riheet to the Tower of the Sage to locate the sword she created.
