Ep. 18: Roi recounts his past with former teammates while battling undead in the plains.
While traversing rocky terrain, Kasel and Roi encounter an undead creature that Roi identifies as a former teammate, whom he subsequently eliminates. During the night, Roi reveals to Kasel that he previously served under Captain Zayed in a mercenary group. Orvelia dispatched them to investigate demonic activity at Gallua Plains, where Malduk’s magical traps transformed the entire unit into undead. Roi survived only because Dominicus rescued him and permitted him to reside at the Tower of the Sage. The following day, Roi and Kasel defeat the remaining undead. Roi then pays his respects to his fallen captain before resuming his journey. This narrative provides context regarding Roi’s history with his former comrades and the tragic events that led to his current status.
