Makeru Yadano challenges Komi to a physical exam to prove superiority, but Komi wins due to better eyesight, height, and weight. Yadano declares the results a draw. Tadano receives average scores. Ren Yamai, obsessed with Komi, kidnaps Tadano to isolate him from her. Najimi visits Yamai’s house and finds Tadano in a closet. Yamai claims she is a better friend, but Komi rejects her choice. Komi blames herself and speaks aloud to ask if Tadano remains her friend. Najimi facilitates an apology. Komi reveals her social anxiety to Yamai, who accepts it and vows to help Komi make 100 friends. Komi agrees to let Yamai become her friend.
