A severe typhoon frightens Komi, but Tadano’s phone call provides her with much-needed reassurance. At school, Yamai fails to spy on Komi and instead admires her own appearance. Tadano’s male peers speculate about dating their female classmates but struggle to imagine such a scenario with Komi, whereas Tadano’s vivid imagination leads to his embarrassment. Komi, Onemine, and Otori visit a cat café where Komi feels jealous of Otori’s popularity until a black cat allows her to pet it, prompting Onemine to capture the moment. Later, Najimi and Yamai play a game to hear Komi say “I love you,” but Tadano is interrupted. Komi leaves the room, wishing he had finished the phrase, and subsequently visits Chocola, the cat she befriended.
