Ep. 3: Tadano helps friends read Komi while Katai invites them to lunch and Komi buys yakimo.

Tadano tries to teach Nakanaka and Yamai to understand Komi, but they fail and argue. His classmates imagine romantic scenarios, eventually picturing Komi as a deadly assassin, until she enters and embarrasses them. Katai attempts to invite Tadano to lunch but leaves when he senses their fear. Tadano follows him, asking Katai not to be intimidating. Katai is delighted and invites Komi, who agrees. Komi chases a yakimo food truck and buys food after the vendor understands her expressions. Tadano recalls dancing with Komi in a maid outfit during the culture festival and feels inadequate. He goes outside, meets Komi, and receives yakimo from her. Tadano invites her to hang out during winter break, and she accepts.
