Ep. 4: Komi and friends celebrate Christmas with a mall shopping challenge and a joint birthday gift.
On Christmas Eve, Komi reacts to a message from Najimi challenging her to buy gifts for her friends, prompting her to bring Shousuke. The group gathers at a mall where Najimi dares them to select the best present for Komi. After Tadano suggests a large black cat plushie, they visit Komi’s home the following day to give her the toy as a combined Christmas and birthday present, noting her birthday falls on the 26th. Inside, the friends compete for seating positions, but Komi chooses to sit beside Tadano. They engage in the King Game, where participants draw numbered sticks and the King issues commands. Najimi orders Komi to dress as Santa Claus, while Komi’s mother dares Tadano to kiss Shinobino on the cheek, an event Komi observes closely. When Komi becomes King, she commands everyone to get along. After the guests depart, Komi sends holiday messages to her friends while holding her new plushie.
