Ep. 43: Zatch and Ponygon visit Mochinoki Department Store to see Praying Mantis Joe.
Zatch wishes to attend the Praying Mantis Joe live show at Mochinoki Department Store but requires an adult chaperone. Since Kiyo refuses to accompany him, Zatch brings Ponygon instead. They encounter Suzy and the teacher's Wife, who are also heading to the store. Inside, Zatch sees Praying Mantis Joe remove his costume, revealing a surprisingly weak man, which disappoints him and the other children regarding their purchases. When the group asks the performer to address their issues, he declines. Zatch and his friends then confront the Store Manager, who threatens to have his bodyguard eject them. Suddenly, Praying Mantis Joe recalls his inner strength, defeats the bodyguard, and restores justice. The children successfully exchange their defective items, and Zatch understands the true meaning of the heart of justice.
