Suzy visits Zatch and Kiyo while appearing hypnotized, delivering an invitation from a stranger called Milordo-Z. Kiyo suspects a trap, so they attend the gathering to find others similarly controlled. Milordo-Z and his masked partner propose an alliance to secure a benevolent king, offering mamodo teams as allies to protect Zatch. Kiyo recognizes this as manipulation and attacks, but Milordo-Z uses the other mamodo as human shields. Disappointed by Zatch’s perspective, the pair departs after destroying the house. Emerging from the wreckage, Zatch and Kiyo resolve to prevent Milordo-Z from ascending to the throne.
