Recognizing her strong will, Gandoweria forcibly possesses Nina despite her refusal. Alsheyra orders Savalis to escort Leerin to Zuellni to investigate recent contaminoid attacks. Layfon records his platoon filming the Salinban Mercenary Training Group fighting off contaminants to study their combat strategy. Despite sustaining injuries, Layfon completes the task. Meanwhile, Kalian dispatches a search team to locate Nina within the machinery department but is informed that she cannot be found.
