Leerin expresses her desire to visit Layfon in Zuellni to Synola. Felli feels jealous after seeing flowers Nina left for the hospitalized Layfon. Nina resolves to grow stronger, knowing his surgery coincides with the inter-platoon match against the 1st Platoon. Sharnid asks Dalsiena to join the 17th Platoon as a permanent member. Mifi and Naruki tell Layfon that Mayshen blames herself for his condition. During the match, Nina struggles against Vanzeh. After leaving the hospital, Layfon meets Mayshen, who thanks him for his protection. Later, Kalian summons Layfon to temporarily join the Salinban Mercenary Training Group to destroy approaching contaminoids. Dalsiena is disappointed by their loss to the first platoon. Derek asks Leerin to deliver a DITE to Layfon via inheritance when she leaves Glendan.
