Seirin joins Shutoku High, Senshinkan High, and Kirisaki Dai Ichi High in the championship league. Seirin defeats Senshinkan, the "King of the West," with a score of 78-61. Kirisaki Dai Ichi intentionally loses to Shutoku, who win 123-51, allowing their first-string players to observe Seirin. Kiyoshi encounters Makoto Hanamiya of Kirisaki Dai Ichi, an "Uncrowned King" recognized for dishonest play. Seirin’s next opponent is Shutoku. Riko anticipates that Midorima has a limit to his super-long three-pointers, but Midorima has completed endurance training to outlast Kagami’s jumping ability during the upcoming match.
