Yuuri, Conrad, and Wolfram travel to Van da Via island to find the demon sword Morgif. On board, they meet apprentice Rick, merchant Heathcrife, and his daughter Beatrice. Pirates attack the vessel, and although Conrad hides the group, Yuuri’s cat noise reveals their location. He attempts to reason with the attackers but uses magic to create a bone monster after seeing Beatrice dragged away. The pirates are defeated, but the trio is imprisoned. Jozak frees them, allowing Yuuri, Conrad, and Wolfram to escape in a boat.
