Conrad, Wolfram, Yuuri, and Jozak arrive at Van da Via island and learn of a cursed mountain hot spring legend. Suspecting Morgif is present, they investigate and locate the sword at the spring's bottom. Yuri attempts to seize it, but the sword, which has a face, bites him, causing him to flee in fear. The group returns to their inn, but Yuri later overhears a conversation between Jozak and Conrad. Determined to prove his worthiness to be king, he returns alone to the site and successfully obtains the sword.
