Martin’s ghost appears, leading Hiro to confess his love. Alicia, unaware she is a game character, flees after revealing their childhood bond. Hiro understands Kamui’s guidance and asks Martin to continue haunting him, unlocking a memory of a promise to remain friends forever. Martin forgives Hiro and departs. Hiro’s title improves slightly, leading Reona to hope he can become the Hero again by repairing his sword. They then witness the city burning, an event Reona has never seen before.
