Ep. 9: Hiro Endures Bullying and Discovers the Truth Behind the Pranks
Reona takes Hiro to a counselor who criticizes his combat skills, while Cathy suggests prayer that results only in holy water being poured on him. On day four, Palù beats Hiro and threatens Cathy, leading her to reject him. The following day, Granada quits after severe pranks. Tesla arrives with a letter blaming Amos for the harassment and demands answers. Cathy confesses that she, Amos, and the recruits failed to stop the bullying. Consequently, Tesla fires Amos, and the group apologizes to Hiro. That night, Reona admits she orchestrated the pranks, causing Hiro’s title to shift as if he were at fault. Despite the ordeal, Hiro chooses to fight the second goblin assault, risking his console. Impressed by his courage, Reona prepares to reveal why she truly wants him to continue playing.
