Ep. 8: D'Eon infiltrates a masquerade to meet Empress Elizaveta in Saint Petersburg while conspirators plot her assassination.

After pursuing Vorontsov, D'Eon and companions reach Saint Petersburg. To secure permission from Empress Tsaritsa Elizaveta for operations in Russia, D'Eon and Robin disguise themselves as women to infiltrate a masquerade ball. Simultaneously, Maximilien Robespierre, Cagliostro, and Lorenza join forces with Grand Chancellor Bestuzhev, who plans to assassinate the Empress. Meanwhile, Durand and Teillagory are forcibly brought before a veiled woman who is aware of the impending assassination plot.
