Ep. 9: D'Eon gains Elizaveta's trust and thwarts an assassination plot against the Empress.

After revealing his true identity, D'Eon earns the trust of Elizaveta, who is revealed to be a former friend of Lia. Both women dedicated themselves to reforming Russia. The Empress permits D'Eon and his companions to arrest Vorontsov, a nobleman once under her command. Bestuzhev and Vorontsov attempt to assassinate the Empress but are thwarted and deceived by D'Eon and his comrades. As a result of the failed plot, Elizaveta arrests Bestuzhev. She then thanks the Four Musketeers for their service in protecting her and maintaining stability within the realm during this critical political crisis.
