Komari dreams of her brother, prompting Riki to question Kojirō about Takuya, who warns him to stop. Riki meets Komari at the school gate, and they spend the night on the roof watching a meteor shower. She asks him to date her to help find her lost memories. They travel by train and boat to her former home. Riki suggests she does not need to find her brother, leading Komari to jokingly ask if he will be her brother. On the way back, rain forces them to seek shelter. Riki spots a dead kitten, causing Komari to sob uncontrollably as she recalls memories of her brother.
