Ep. 25: Shiroe counters Marves at the banquet and rejects Nureha's recruitment offer during the Scale Festival.
Shiroe, Krusty, and Michitaka arrive at the banquet and counter Lord Marves' ruse, forcing his retreat. Minori worries about Shiroe's actions, but he accepts being the villain to achieve his goals, a realization that makes Akatsuki berate herself. Later, Shiroe attempts to meet Oushima but is confronted by Dariella, a storyteller from the Palace of Eternal Ice. Shiroe sees through her disguise and forces Nureha of Plant Hwyaden, leader of Minami's lone guild, to reveal herself. They exchange information on each other's accomplishments, and Nureha expresses her intention to recruit Shiroe. She mentions his research on returning to the other world and offers resources, probing his ambivalence toward Akiba, but Shiroe rejects the proposal. As the Scale Festival concludes, Log Horizon dines with Shiroe and reaffirms their support. Facing new challenges, Shiroe sets the guild's next goal: changing the world of Elder Tales. In the epilogue, Shiroe and Regan plan to leave Akiba.
