One month after the Zantleaf battle, Eastal hosts a grand ball for adventurers to celebrate defeating the goblin general, an event Shiroe incorporates into his strategy against the Goblin King. Shiroe discovers details about the Demon Festival of Suzaku Gate in western Yamato and overhears a woman recounting his rescue of Rundellhous. He visits Regan to learn that an adventurer in Minami used world-class magic and that the Izumo Knights participated in the festival. At the ball, Rayneshia recalls Serjiad appointing her as Estal’s ambassador to Akiba to repay the adventurers. Shiroe thanks Akatsuki with a dance, and Rayneshia later moves to Akiba. Shiroe spreads rumors about the consequences of death to prevent panic. As life normalizes, Marielle suggests holding the Scale Festival to celebrate autumn.
