Ep. 22: Shiroe enjoys the Scale Festival while navigating romantic tensions with Minori and Akatsuki.
As the Scale Festival approaches, Akiba grows vibrant, yet Shiroe remains focused on his research until Henrietta urges him to join the celebrations. Minori and Akatsuki both try to recruit Shiroe for a cake-eating contest, with Minori hoping the prize will restore public trust in him. During the event, Shiroe faces envy from other participants for bringing two female companions, a situation that intensifies as the girls compete for his attention. The trio ultimately fails the contest. Later, atop Log Horizon’s headquarters, Shiroe resolves to spend more quality time with his guildmates. Akatsuki joins him, briefly confessing her feelings despite his lack of awareness. Meanwhile, Minori witnesses their interaction, flees with a broken heart after admitting her own feelings, but eventually finds comfort and resolve through Touya’s encouragement.
