Ep. 16: Speed Racer Invited to Kapetapek's Volcanic Underground Race Amid Political Tensions

At the League of Countries meeting, Kapetapek's Chief Zuma proposes closing borders unless his driver, Kabala, defeats Speed Racer. Speed accepts an invitation to a Fire Festival Race in Kapetapek, noting the absence of a local track and Kabala's long disappearance. Upon arrival, Speed and his companions encounter Racer X. Chief Zuma announces that the race winner will marry his granddaughter, Princess Silvana, prompting Mr. Kadar to challenge Speed after Trixie claims him. Kadar later kidnaps the Princess to demand treasure locations, but Speed rescues her. The following day, racers travel by raft to a volcanic mountain entrance. They navigate an 800-mile tunnel toward an ancient city, racing against a closing mountain split and erupting volcano. As debris falls and lava threatens, Kabala appears, and the race commences.
