Ep. 18: Speed and Trixie attempt to rescue Twinkle Banks during a dangerous stunt over Niagara Falls.
Speed and his friends observe Twinkle Banks, a Universal Circus star, performing high-risk stunts. After Speed saves her from fainting, her father explains financial struggles, prompting a donation. Radio reports reveal Twinkle plans to drive a car over Niagara Falls on ropes. Speed and Trixie try to intervene due to hazardous winds, but Cornpone Brush insists the stunt proceed. Brush secretly seeks a treasure cave behind the falls using a map and a pipeline. During the show, strong winds knock Twinkle’s car into the water, leaving her clinging to a rope. Speed drives the Mach 5 down the remaining rope to save her, but the rope breaks. They fall into the falls, where Speed attempts to navigate underwater but encounters whirlpools. With dwindling oxygen, both Speed and Twinkle lose consciousness in the cockpit.
