Ep. 1: The Compass Pointed to the Darkness

In the distant past, Vueko joins Wazukyan and Belaf’s Ganja expedition to find the Golden City, trading her compass for guidance from a native tribe and accepting an exiled girl as their guide. They navigate the Abyss, battling monsters and learning of the Curse until reaching a transport pod at the Ido Front in the fifth layer. In the present, Riko, Reg, and Nanachi activate this pod using Riko’s White Whistle, descending through the bone-filled Sea of Corpses. Reg advises Riko to use the pod’s facilities during the long journey. Upon arriving at the sixth layer, the trio exits the pod and steps into the Capital of the Unreturned, beginning their exploration of this new, dangerous environment.
