Ep. 5: Reg navigates monster attacks while Riko uncovers Iruburu's dark history and Nanachi's captivity.

Reg becomes lost and attacked by monsters on his way back to the village, but is rescued by an Interference Unit robot designed for Abyss data collection. Although the unit lacks data on Reg's model, it guides him to Iruburu. Meanwhile, Riko speaks with Wazukyan, discovering he is one of the Three Sages who founded Iruburu. Riko then explores a cave avoided by Hollows, where she encounters Vueko, a woman imprisoned for opposing the village's establishment due to its sinister origins. Riko frees Vueko, who leads her to Belaf’s residence. There, Riko learns that Nanachi traded her freedom to Belaf to protect Mitty from being used as food. Belaf reveals he once created a perfect copy of Mitty after Bondrewd brought her to Iruburu, sacrificing part of his body in the process. He demands Riko surrender both eyes, both legs, or half her intestines to secure their freedom.
