Chat Noir calls to boast about the real ring but discovers it is a replica. Kid reveals he swapped the items earlier and identifies Ruby as the collector of fakes created by her father. He promises the return of the jewel, which drops into her champagne. Police pursue Kid to the elevator roof after a button press creates a window hole, enabling his successful escape alongside a satisfied Chat Noir.
