Kaito aims to steal the Green Dream jewel, currently utilized in a local play, by posing as a part-time set worker. He discovers the lead actress is the theater owner’s daughter, who frequently ad-libs and mocks the cast. Conversely, the actress playing Servant A knows all lines but suffers from stage fright, prompting Kaito to help her become the star. Meanwhile, Inspector Nakamori deploys a large police force to guard the electric room, anticipating a blackout strategy. Unbeknownst to the police, stage lights are programmed to blind the audience, allowing Kaito to execute his heist. The episode questions whether he can successfully complete the theft and escape before the plan is thwarted.
