Following a successful heist, Kid receives a warning to cease stealing gems. At school, Kaito promises Aoko he will attend her birthday party, which coincides with the theft of the Blue Birthday. He succeeds but encounters an organization responsible for his father's death. After being seemingly killed by Snake, the group steals the gem and flees. Kaito pursues them, discovering they seek the immortality-granting Pandora jewel, hidden in a large gemstone visible only in moonlight. Realizing the Blue Birthday is not Pandora, Kaito vows to destroy it first. Unable to reach Aoko in time, he uses apartment lights to spell out her birthday greeting. Meanwhile, the organization hires the magician Spider to counter Kid.
