Ep. 2: Louie Confronts Melissia and Embarks on a Ruin Expedition

The girls confront Louie at Genie's home, where Melissia reveals he is her champion, causing her despair. Louie doubts this but convinces the group to take him on their adventure, with Melissia agreeing to join if he wishes. Before departing, Louie receives a magic wand charm from Master Carwes and sword training from Genie. He also assumes the recurring task of carrying party supplies. At the ruins, Louie moves rubble while Genie shifts the final stone. He uses a cheat note to open a sealed door. Inside, Louie accidentally finds a hidden door and imagines winning the girls' affection with treasure. Instead, he encounters goblins. After being hit, he fights them, breaking his wand. The girls despair that he acts as a fighter rather than a magician. They find no treasure, but Louie expresses happiness about the adventure, prompting Merrill to punch him.
