Ep. 3: The group returns to Ohfun where the girls abandon Louie until he finds a replacement wand.

Upon returning to Ohfun, the girls remain angry about the lack of treasure and leave Louie behind because he lacks a magic wand. They complain about him to locals in town before meeting Ila and Louie at an inn. Ila offers three impractical items: a too-small invisibility cloak, an illusionary chicken box, and a demon-summoning whistle without control. When Merrill criticizes these gifts, Ila suggests they are better than having no teammates, which infuriates the group. Louie, sensing the hostility, leaves with Ila. The girls eventually agree to help him gather gear and wood for a new wand. Finally, unable to bear the guilt of potentially losing him in the Phantom Forest alone, they decide to accompany him on the journey.
