The automated guardian malfunctions and spirals out of control, forcing both Merill and Louie to intervene. They attempt to retrieve the jar before it falls into a bottomless hot spring. Despite their concerted efforts to stop the errant construct, the jar ultimately plunges into the pit. Consequently, the group loses their wealth and returns to a state of poverty, marking a significant setback for their financial situation.
