Godai’s college holds its annual festival, featuring a puppet theatre production where he assumes the role of the prince. Kyoko, who has never experienced college life and remains young enough to be a student, attends the event with hopes of witnessing this aspect of campus existence. Through a series of unexpected circumstances, she is cast as the princess in the same play. Godai struggles to maintain focus during rehearsals due to Kyoko’s close physical proximity and her frequent declarations of love, which are delivered as part of her character’s lines. Following the performance, Godai presents Kyoko with the puppet representing the princess character.
