Ep. 19: Godai and Kyoko share a New Year's evening that leads to misunderstandings and a temple visit.

During the New Year holiday, Akemi invites Godai and Kyoko to watch television together. Godai plans to confess his feelings, but Akemi’s warnings about him leave Kyoko suspicious. When Akemi accepts a ski trip invitation, Godai attempts to make a move on Kyoko but hesitates due to his conscience. He shouts that he wants to do something, which Kyoko misinterprets until he lies about being jealous of the ski trip. Kyoko calms down, and Godai goes to bed regretting his failure to act. However, Kyoko respects his gentlemanly behavior and knocks on his door, intending to take the initiative. Godai mistakenly assumes she wants intimacy, but she actually invites him to visit a temple. He agrees and prays for their relationship to succeed in the new year.
