Krylancelo, a student at the Sorcerer Training Institution The Tower of Fangs, sought his sister Azalie after she became a monster. Five years later, he is known as Orphen. He lends money to dwarves Volcan and Dortin. Orphen is forced to work with Volcan and Dortin to attempt marriage into the Everlasting Family.

The situation forces Orphen to confront the consequences of the experiment while navigating the pursuit by the sorcerers who seek to capture the transformed Azalie.
