During the performance for Shuri’s grandmother, who recalls meeting Matsugoro at age six, she appreciates his unique interpretation despite its differences from the original. Setsu explains the challenges of mastering the song, and this performance motivates Shuri to continue the club. Meanwhile, Umeko arranges for Setsu to participate in the Matsugorou Cup, a high school shamisen competition.
