Dr Aki investigates Sumilodon's Medaforce usage, leaving Kouji behind while Ikki and Erika seek out Team Iceland. Erika develops feelings for leader Belmont, who falls ill protecting her, prompting her plea to Victor to postpone the match. Victor refuses, and the contest proceeds. Warbandit proves too strong, allowing Team Kenya to secure second place in the finals and claim Orkamar's medal. As Belmont grieves the defeat, Ikki vows to defeat Victor in the finals to reclaim the prize. Brass reveals that Warbandit stated Victor does not desire the medals but pursues them for an undisclosed reason.
