Ikki and his friends seek Henry, believing he knows the truth about the Ten Days of Darkness incident involving Hikaru Agata and Metabee eight years ago. Ikki theorizes that Henry and Hikaru are the same person, though the group fails to locate him. Meanwhile, Kouji is devastated by his near-failure against Patra and Team Egypt, wondering how he can contribute without the Medaforce. In the semi-finals, Space Medafighter X agrees to battle for Team USA. Kouji remains unable to fight, putting Team Japan at risk. Arcbeetle appears to destroy both the opposing Medabots and Metabee, but Sumilodon intervenes to save his teammate. Joe activates his secret Destroyer Mirage move, seemingly gaining the upper hand. However, Metabee recovers, and Sumilodon successfully utilizes the Medaforce to defeat Wigwamo, securing victory for Team Japan.
