Ep. 1: Shinichi solves a balcony murder and a roller coaster decapitation before shrinking from poison

Shinichi assists in resolving a homicide that occurred on a balcony. Following this event, he accompanies his childhood friend, Ran, to an amusement park. While they are riding a roller coaster, another victim is decapitated, and Shinichi promptly solves this second case. As the pair prepares to depart, Shinichi pursues a suspicious individual into an alleyway. There, he is struck unconscious and administered a poison by a man in black. The substance does not result in death but instead reduces Shinichi to the physical size of a child.
