Shinichi wakes up as a child due to poison and proves his identity to Professor Agasa. He agrees to stay undercover to protect himself and loved ones from the Men in Black. Adopting the name Conan Edogawa, he lives with Ran and Kogoro Mori, whose detective agency aids his investigation. Kogoro takes a case regarding Akiko’s kidnapping. Conan guides Kogoro to suspect the butler, Mr. Aso. After Akiko is kidnapped again, Conan locates her. The arrest reveals Akiko faked the event to make her father spend time with her. Her father arranges a vacation with Aso. Impressed by the solution, Kogoro permits Conan to remain with his family.
