Ep. 5: Conan investigates suspicious men on the Shinkansen and stops a suitcase bomb

While traveling on the Shinkansen, Conan encounters individuals resembling the black-clad figures from the pilot episode. He discovers they are impostors but overhears a plot involving a bomb in a black suitcase via his gadget glasses. Conan identifies four suspects and notices a discrepancy in a woman’s seat orientation relative to her comments about the mountains. This deduction reveals her connection to the conspirators. Using power-enhancing kick shoes created by Professor Agasa, Conan kicks the briefcase off the train just before detonation. The woman and the two men are subsequently arrested for their involvement in the bombing scheme.
