Ep. 1029: Wild Police Story Case Matsuda Jinpei at the Metropolitan Police Academy
At the Metropolitan Police Academy, Rei Furuya and Jinpei Matsuda engage in a physical altercation amidst falling cherry blossoms. Matsuda harbors resentment toward Furuya’s intense desire to join the force. By 2 a.m., Kagemitsu Morofuse wakes from a nightmare to find a wounded Furuya at his door. Morofuse questions Furuya’s compatibility with Matsuda. During morning assembly, classmates Morofuse, Kenji Hagiwara, and Wataru Date stand beside the injured pair. Instructor Hatsuzo Onizuka demands an explanation for their injuries, but Date provides a deceptive answer. Matsuda, who claims to dislike the police yet understands the role, faces scrutiny from Hatsuzo. Consequently, Furuya begins investigating Matsuda’s past to uncover the truth behind his conflicting attitudes and the night’s events.
